Dr Andreja Kutnar attends Boosting Innovation for EU Industry

The Slovenian Business & Research Association and the European Commission organized a conference, “Boosting Innovation for EU Industry: Industrial Infrastructure and Open Innovation Ecosystems”, which took place on 3 April 2019 at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana.

The conference presented different activities and EU instruments for encouraging industrial infrastructure to support an innovation ecosystem for open innovation that accelerates technology transfer from research to market. The conference was attended by high representatives of the European Commission and the Slovenian Government. It showcased the field of open innovation in Slovenia as well as research and industrial infrastructure aimed at transferring research and innovation to the market.

Dr Andreja Kutnar, director of the InnoRenew CoE, gladly joined the conference and took part in the panel discussion about excellent examples of innovation support from industry and the region. She presented the InnoRenew CoE and its research work. Her presentation also focused on open innovations in knowledge institutions.

In addition, the conference was a great opportunity for networking and matchmaking with companies, research institutes, universities, laboratories, agencies, clusters and other institutions from Slovenia and the wider region.
