JEC World, The Leading International Composites Show, is designed for professionals to meet with the worldwide composites industry dedicated entirely to the development of know-how and business connections channels and platforms supporting growth and promotion of the composite materials industry.

This year, it was organized in Paris from 12 to 14 March and hosted a conference focusing on the latest developments in high-performance composite technologies and applications.

Dr David DeVallance, research group leader for Renewable Materials Composites, and Dr Laetitia Marrot attended the event and conference to meet with potential industry and research collaborators. They had discussions with various experts involved in natural fibre research.

The event hosted more than 1300 exhibitors in 26 pavilions, with more than 43000 professional visits from 115 countries.
