Dr Matthew Schwarzkopf, Dr Balász David and Dr Jakub Sandak visited and met with representatives of the family company Mardom Pro in Poland. Among other activities, this company is manufacturing furniture for IKEA.

Our researchers had a chance to visit the sawmill and factory, and they were introduced to the different processes and technologies the company uses during production of their furniture. They identified some key parts where the InnoRenew CoE might be able to collaborate and help in making the processes more efficient, and they discussed these suggestions with the engineers of the company. Moreover, our team got the chance to meet with the director and the owner of the company.
