In November, the InnoRenew CoE organized a special workshop for Living Lab members, “Securing EU funding for Innovative SMEs”.

Two colleagues from the Spanish consulting company Innovarum, Maya Hernando Calvo and Irene Paredes Díaz, shared their experiences and advice on how to prepare a project proposal with participants from both the industry and research sectors. The workshop focused on practical and useful tips for preparing a proposal in order to obtain EU funding. Moreover, they discussed the funding mechanism of Horizon2020 proposals in-depth.

Participants received a review of the current opportunities, their evaluation procedures and the key to prepare a successful project proposal, which will be of great use in their future work.
