Dr Ana Slavec won the RDA award

The Research Data Alliance (RDA) is an international organisation focused on the development of infrastructure and community activities to reduce the social and technical barriers to data sharing and to promote the acceleration of data driven innovation and discovery worldwide. In March 2018, the RDA Europe developed the RDA Europe 4.0 project with the main purpose to develop the Open Science Strategy. In the framework of this project, there are several grant opportunities among which is the Early Career Programme and Experts Programme.

InnoRenew CoE researcher and consulting statistician, Dr Ana Slavec, successfully applied to the call, and she won the Early Careers and Experts Grant, which financially supported her trip to the International Data Week (IDW 2018) in Botswana, Africa.

Ana presented her poster where she showed our strategy and our data management plan. Moreover, she attended several workshops and activities that the organizers provided for participants of the IDW 2018.
