The Forestry and Forest Products Research Institute in Tsukuba, Japan is a comprehensive research institution relating to the forest, forestry, and forest products industries. It has more than 110 years of history, and their findings scientifically contributed to the new technologies development, preservation of biodiversity, forestry, and development of the wood industry.

We are honoured to have been invited by the Japanese government to visit the Forestry and Forest Products Research Institute. Our researcher Dr Jakub Sandak is visiting the institute where he will attend a meeting to discuss possible future collaboration with our research center of excellence InnoRenew CoE and the Forestry and Forest Products Research Institute.
