Yesterday Dr Michael Burnard participated at the conference on Circular Economy in Tourism in South East Europe in Ljubljana.

Topics at the conference covered supply chain management in tourism, circular practices in tourism as a contributor to sustainable cities, sustainable waste management, challenges and opportunities for circular economy in tourism, and technology trends of the future of travel. The participants of the conference were senior governmental and European Union officials, leading international enterprises, leading innovative companies, circular economy experts, and representatives from the National Cleaner Production Centres (NCPCs).

Michael presented about building design with REED to improve visitors well-being and participants of the conference were very interested about this topic. He was honoured to participate in this event.
