In the first year of establishment of the InnoRenew CoE, one of the most important activities completed was connected with the development and construction of our new building.

We are very happy that at the beginning of February we signed a tripartite contract with the Municipality of Izola and the University of Primorska regarding the transfer of building rights on one part of the land in Livade. Moreover, the Municipality of Izola confirmed the exemption for the payment of a municipal contribution.

In 2017 we sent an initiative to the Municipality of Izola about the construction of our centre of excellence on the campus Livade. The initiative was also unanimously approved by the municipal council. The building right of the University of Primorska has been abolished and transferred to our centre of excellence.

Our next steps will be obtaining the project conditions and building permit. According to our estimates, the new home of the InnoRenew CoE in Izola will be finished by 2020.
