Congratulations to our researcher, Matt Schwarzkopf​, as well as to Lech Muszyński, Jesse Paris, John Nairn, & Fred Kamke! They were awarded the Best Paper Prize in 2016 from the International Wood Products Journal!

Their award-winning paper, ‘Integrating optical measurement and modelling for quantitative analysis of the micromechanical load transfer in the wood-adhesive bond interphase’, is available to read online for free. The prize is awarded annually to recognise the paper published in this peer-reviewed journal that makes the greatest contribution to the field of wood science.
