Stefanija Sekuloska is a laboratory technician in the group Materials at InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM.
She completed a bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics at the University of Primorska, where she built a strong foundation in biology, data analysis, and computational methods. Her studies spanned genetics, molecular biology, machine learning, and ecological data interpretation. She brought these fields together in her final thesis, which examined DNA barcoding as a tool for assessing post-fire pollinator diversity in Mediterranean grassland ecosystems.
From a student position to her current full-time role as a technician in the Engineered Living Materials Laboratory, she continues to expand her expertise across disciplines.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature, discovering new parts of the city, and exploring creative pursuits
