InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM hosted the Mainstreaming governance, co-investment and technology solutions for Positive Energy Districts in monument protected areas (MonuPED) project meeting, held 17 – 18 June 2026 in the InnoRenew CoE building, Slovenia.

Dr. Črtomir Tavzes and Dr. Miklos Kresz, InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM researchers, hosted and attended the project meeting. During the meeting, project partners reviewed project status and deliverables, discussed ongoing activities and upcoming tasks, and exchanged updates on governance, financing, communication and stakeholder engagement activities within the project.

Participants also had a guided tour of the InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM building and research laboratories, led by Dr. Črtomir Tavzes.

The project meeting also featured a joint workshop focused on the MonuPED toolkit and Living Labs activities. Participants discussed solutions and tools for Positive Energy Districts (PEDs) in monument protected areas and buildings, as well as approaches to solution validation and stakeholder co-creation. The workshop concluded with a discussion on the next steps and the MonuPED roadmap.
