Upcoming WoodStock grant call for climate-smart construction solutions for SMEs

The WoodStock project will launch a grant call on 15 September 2026 supporting climate-smart wood construction solutions that make better use of underutilised wood in Europe. Four projects will each receive up to €50,000 to test, validate, and scale zero-waste solutions beyond Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 5.

The call opens 15 September 2026 and closes 15 December 2026. The official call document will be published shortly. To support potential applicants, WoodStock will organise two online information sessions on Friday 5 June 2026 at 13:00 CEST and on Tuesday 1 September 2026 at 16:00 CEST.

InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM is one WoodStock partners and it leads activities related to human health and well-being, the European Wood Construction Observatory (EWCO) and the New European Bauhaus (NEB) Lab. They are developing knowledge on the health and social benefits of wood-based built environments, establishing an open-access European observatory for wood construction, and hosting one of the project’s six Living Labs.

We encourage SMEs, innovators, designers, architects, forestry and construction professionals to stay informed and begin preparing their ideas.

More information on eligibility, criteria and timeline will be available on the WoodStock website.

You are kindly invited to attend the information sessions.
