Erfan Asgari is an assistant at the acoustics laboratory at InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM and a PhD candidate at University of Primorska. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Iran University of Science and Technology and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic).
His research interests include acoustic and vibration control, manipulation and insulation, as well as data-driven methods such as machine learning, deep learning, and statistical analysis in acoustics and vibration.
Currently, his PhD research focuses on multisensory interactions and their role in the acoustic perception of the built environment.
In his free time, he enjoys reading books, watching comedy films, spending time with friends, playing football and swimming.
