Dr. Mike Burnard, deputy department chair of InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM, welcomed a group of students from several European universities, including the University of Ljubljana (Faculty of Architecture and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering), the University of Split (Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy) and the Ramon Llull University (School of Architecture La Salle).
Dr. Burnard delivered a lecture on the New European Bauhaus Academy, presenting its objectives and activities, as well as its role in supporting sustainable, inclusive and aesthetically driven approaches to the built environment. He also guided them through the research laboratories and the building, giving them an overview of ongoing research and facilities.
The visit offered students the opportunity to learn more about the New European Bauhaus Academy and to explore the research environment, while gaining insight into interdisciplinary approaches to sustainable and inclusive design.
