Dr. Lea Primožič at the New European Bauhaus workshop

Dr. Lea Primožič, InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM researcher, attended the workshop on implementing the principles of the New European Bauhaus in development, infrastructure and cohesion projects, held on 10 April 2026 at the Museum of Architecture and Design in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Dr. Primožič presented the New European Bauhaus Academy, which focuses on developing knowledge and skills for sustainable, circular and climate-neutral transformation. She highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration between education, research and industry, as well as the need for upskilling and reskilling across different sectors.

The workshop brought together representatives of municipalities, regional development agencies, ministries and experts from various fields. Participants explored funding opportunities, practical tools and concrete examples of how to integrate New European Bauhaus principles into development and spatial planning projects.

The event was organized by the Centre for Creativity and the Museum of Architecture and Design as part of the activities of the national contact point of the New European Bauhaus (NEB), in cooperation with the Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development, the Slovenian Regional Development Fund (SRRS), the Ministry of Culture and the Association of Urban Municipalities of Slovenia (ZMOS).
