Students at Lodz University of Technology receive NEB Academy certificates

Students at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Environmental Engineering of the Lodz University of Technology successfully completed NEB Academy courses and received certificates issued by InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM.

The certificates were awarded during a ceremony held on 11 March 2026. The courses, delivered by Prof. Anetta Kępczyńska-Walczak and Prof. Bartosz M. Walczak, are aligned with the principles of the New European Bauhaus, promoting bio-based, circular and human-centred approaches in architecture and urban planning. Certificates were formally presented by the Dean for Student Affairs, Prof. Łukasz Domagalski, highlighting the importance of the event.

The NEB Academy is implemented within the framework of the New European Bauhaus Academy Alliance (NEBA Alliance) project, funded by Horizon Europe. The project is led by Dr. Andreja Kutnar, department chair of InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM and it aims to strengthening skills and education for the green and sustainable transformation of the built environment.

The NEB Academy focuses on training, upskilling and reskilling professionals across the construction, engineering, architecture and planning sectors. Its mission is to support the decarbonisation of buildings and a sustainable, inclusive and resilient transformation of the built environment. By connecting educators and trainers and providing high-quality digital training materials, NEB Academy ensures that learners across cities and rural areas have access to the same opportunities.
