Dr. Lea Primožič, InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM researcher, successfully defended her PhD at the University of Primorska’s Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies.

Her doctoral research focused on strategic communication approaches for promoting sustainable construction concepts among targeted stakeholders, using the Restorative Environmental and Ergonomic Design (REED) concept as a case study. Her work examined sustainability communication across industries and identified key drivers and barriers influencing professional stakeholders’ decisions, highlighting the importance of targeted messages, particularly those related to human health, in supporting wider adoption of sustainable construction practices. She was developing this research topic under supervision of Dr. Andreja Kutnar and co-mentorship of Dr. Rok Prislan, at the Renewable Materials for Healthy Built Environments doctoral program.
