InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM will be hosting a scientific workshop on research opportunities using the ELETTRA Synchrotron, held on 5 February 2026 at the InnoRenew CoE premises in Izola.

The workshop will begin with opening and welcoming remarks by Dr. Andreja Kutnar, acting department chair of InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM, Dr. Dean Korošak, Vice-Rector of the University of Maribor and Dr. Frank Uhlig, head of the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry, TU Graz.

The programme will feature contributions from scientists representing several ELETTRA beamlines (SYRMEP, SISSI, EXAFS, XRF), providing an overview of synchrotron-based methods.

Additionally research opportunities at the Graz University of Technology (TU Graz) will be presented, and  Dr. Andreja Kutnar will present research at InnoRenew CoE that can be enhanced by the ELETTRA Synchrotron.
