Dr. Andreja Kutnar, acting department chair of the InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM, attended the first National day of European partnerships for research and innovation, held on 25 November 2025, at the Museum of Architecture and Design, Fužine castle in Ljubljana.
Dr. Kutnar shared her thoughts at the roundtable “Sinergije v akciji – krepitev partnerstev za dosego skupnih ciljev”, on fostering research synergies within partnerships and collaborative projects. The discussion covered their importance in science, cooperation between programmes and partners, links with industry and European initiatives like Erasmus+ and whether synergy planning should begin at the project or programme design stage.
The event offered an opportunity to learn about the European research and innovation partnerships and to exchange experiences among researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs and institutional representatives. It highlighted Slovenia’s successes in European research partnerships, stories of successful collaboration, the role of synergies and opportunities for networking and engaging in international projects.
The event was organized as part of Science Month by the Science and Innovation Directorate, Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation (MVZI).
