Dr. Ana Slavec, InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM researcher, will be one of the speakers at the Research Data Management in the Age of Open Science seminar, which will take place on 22 October 2025 from 13:15 to 16:45 at Vytautas Magnus University and online.

As part of Task 5.6: “T4EU Open Science in the T4Europe Area”, the seminar will focus on discussing the future of research data management and the role of open science in the European research landscape. During the seminar strategic directions for the development of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) and examples of good practices, such as the CLARIN-LT repository and national initiatives from Portugal and Slovenia will be presented.

The seminar will be followed by a roundtable discussion on strengthening the role of data stewards, implementing FAIR principles, and aligning national practices with European standards. Dr. Ana Slavec will be moderating the discussion.

The event is intended for researchers, data professionals, and all those interested in the development of open science and effective research data management.
