Dr. Niki Hrovatin attended the Swarmchestrate project general assembly, held 9-10 September 2025 in Berlin.

Project partners were hosted by Technische Universität Berlin to discuss about the project progress and preparing for the upcoming mid-term review of the project, sharing valuable insights, and planning the next steps in developing an application-level decentralised orchestration framework, utilising swarm-based distributed intelligence.

The project has now been running for 20 months, and many task had been already competed. The EU-funded Swarmchestrate project aims to deliver a highly distributed paradigms with the self-organisation of so-called swarms of interdependent units in a dynamic orchestration space. The swarms will be managed by decentralised orchestration agents with blockchain-based trusted solutions, state-of-the-art cryptographic algorithms, and privacy-preserving data analytics.
