At InnoRenew CoE they recently developed the concept and design for a desk for the President of the Republic of Slovenia.

To acknowledge the contribution to the conceptual design, mag. Eva Prelovšek Niemela, Aarne Niemela, Zijada Adembegović Hujdurović, dr. Andreja Kutnar and dr. Rok Prislan, attended an informal reception with the President of the Republic of Slovenia at the Presidential Palace.

With this project, InnoRenew CoE aimed to highlight the advantages Slovenia has due to its abundant forest resources and its deep knowledge and tradition in woodworking and furniture design.

Given the exceptional importance of this project for the development of the wood industry in Slovenia, the design and furniture concept were made available, resulting in a unique piece with a multi-layered message.

We are extremely pleased that the President accepted the proposal and that this unique table now serves its purpose in the Presidential Palace.
