InnoRenew CoE’s Council of Experts held the final meeting on 1 September 2025 at the InnoRenew CoE building.

Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, and currently acting department chair of the InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM, presented an overview of the past Council of Experts meetings and reflected on its contribution to the institute’s development.

The Council of Experts served as an advisory body about the development of strategies and scientific challenges the research institute encountered during the past 8 and half years. It provided valuable insights and guidance on the strategic directions the institute followed in the past years.

The Council of Experts was composed of: Dr. Petr Hajek, Mr. Duncan Mayes, Dr. Mariapaola Riggio, Dr. Peter Niemz, Dr. Ritva Toivonen, and Mr. Milan Vatovec.

Their work and expertise was crucial in shaping the InnoRenew CoE’s research vision and agenda.
