Dr. Kaja Kastelic, InnoRenew CoE researcher, attended two scientific conferences in Auckland, New Zealand, where she presented findings from the GIB24 project.

At the International society of behavioural nutrition and physical activity (ISBNPA) conference, which was held 11-14 June 2025, she presented a poster titled: Population surveillance of 24-hour movement behaviours in Slovenia: a pilot study on implementing accelerometers.

Later, at the International network of time-use epidemiologists (INTUE) conference, held 14-16 June 2025, she had an invited talk about population surveillance of 24-hour movement behaviours in Slovenia: validation of the survey items.

Participation in these conferences provided an excellent opportunity to explore new guidelines in the field of movement behaviour surveillance, contributing to the development of more effective public health policies.
