Dr. Ana Slavec, InnoRenew CoE researcher, participated in the discussion about the security and autonomy of universities, organised in Maribor, by Vladimir Prebilič, the Slovenian Member of the European Parliament.

Dr. Slavec emphasized that the openness of data and the research system can be ensured in a secure manner:

“The key here is to have the appropriate infrastructure, which means not only equipment, but also staff who know how to handle information in a secure manner, which is why training and strengthening these skills is very important.”
