InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM introduces a new range of sensors for smart building monitoring. These wireless sensors provide real-time insights into air quality, noise and moisture in wooden structures, helping optimize comfort, health and building performance.
Sensor types:
- Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Sensor – measures CO₂, VOCs, NOx, formaldehyde, particulate matter (PM1, PM2.5, PM4, PM10), temperature, humidity and light. Ideal for offices, public buildings and homes.

- Sound Pressure Level (SPL) Sensor – measures indoor noise. Advanced Edge AI classifies sound on-device for privacy, perfect for workplace noise studies.

- Outdoor Sound (SPL) Sensor– measures outdoor noise with dual microphones and on-device AI to detect sources like traffic, crowds, or music, without storing audio.

- Wood Moisture Content (MC) Sensor – tracks moisture in timber to prevent mold, rot and structural damage, supporting sustainable construction.

All sensors connect to a powerful software system with a Grafana dashboard, enhanced with a floor-plan visualization developed by InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM, along with real-time alerts and easy data export (CSV/JSON).
