Dr. Rok Prislan, InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM researcher participated as a specialist in the competition for the Slovenian Independence Monument in Ljubljana. The proposed creation that he developed together with authors Lea Bradašević and Kaja Kisilak received a higher recognition. Their solution was among 36 submitted proposals.

The winning design by the sculptor Alen Ožbolt and architects Denis Hitrec, Tadej Urh, Tjaša Tahirović and Erik Sirotić, proposes a ground-level commemorative installation, a flagpole for the national flag and dispersed lighting elements that symbolize the movement of crowds during historically significant events.
