Call for the WoodPoP Dara Award 2026 published

The European Wood Policy Platform (WoodPoP) held its Fourth High Level Meeting at InnoRenew CoE in Izola, where they announced the launch of the WoodPoP Dara Award, which aims to celebrate achievements in sustainable timber construction.

A national call has been published on the Government of the Republic of Slovenia’s website, inviting outstanding timber construction projects to submit their applications for the WoodPoP Dara Award 2026. The call is open to projects in which wood serves as the primary structural material, including residential and non-residential buildings, civil engineering works, as well as renovation and extension projects.

The initiative aims to select three outstanding projects (with a maximum of two per category) that will represent Slovenia at the international level and showcase the country’s expertise and innovation in timber construction.

More information about the national call and submission details is available here.
