Dr. Wojciech Pajerski,  Amina Selmanović and Dr. Anna Sandak, InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM researchers, together with Flavien Ginioux who was an intern at InnoRenew CoE, have published a methods article “Practical Protocols for Improving Safety and Sustainability in Multidisciplinary Research Laboratories” in ACS Chemical Health & Safety.

The article presents practical, experience-based protocols to improve safety and sustainability in multidisciplinary research laboratories. It focuses on realistic solutions tailored to small and medium-sized labs, where formal safety and sustainability systems are often limited or fragmented.

The work reflects InnoRenew CoE’s commitment to responsible research practices, aligning laboratory operations with international safety, sustainability and SSbD principles.

The article is published open access and is available to researchers, laboratory managers and institutions worldwide.
