On 4 March 2026, InnoRenew CoE will be hosting the final event of the NewWave project, “Wood products, green resins and chemicals”, held in-person and online.

NewWave is a Horizon Europe project promoting a circular economy by using sustainable raw materials, replacing toxic chemicals and reducing the environmental footprint of products.

The event will introduce bio-based innovations supporting sustainability in construction and chemicals.

Presentations include:

• Biomass Technology Group – presenting the transformation of residual sawdust into Fast Pyrolysis Bio-Oil
• Foresa Technologies – discussing sustainable engineered wood panels using bio-based adhesives
• Foreco and InnoRenew CoE – introducing modified wood products for outdoor applications
• AEP Polymers & TFC – sharing results on green chemicals such as polyols and hydrogenated furans

Participants will discover how bio-based solutions convert wood waste into high-value products, advancing circularity and sustainability in line with EU regulations.
