InnoRenew CoE among the 28 Shortlisted Projects for Built by Nature Prize 2025

The InnoRenew CoE building project has been shortlisted for the Built by Nature Prize 2025, which celebrates projects and people driving a global transformation in timber and bio-based construction.

The Prize received nearly 400 applications from 39 countries, covering a wide range of building types, from housing and education to industrial facilities and public infrastructure. The shortlist was prepared by independent assessors and an internationally acclaimed panel of judges.

The Prize is part of Built by Nature’s mission to accelerate the transition to timber and other bio-based construction, supporting solutions that benefit the climate, nature and people. Six winners and six commendations were announced at the Built by Nature Summit in London on 16 October 2025.

The InnoRenew CoE building was recognised for its hybrid timber construction and status as the largest wooden building in Slovenia. The facility integrates advanced research spaces with sustainable design features that promote wellbeing and long-term environmental performance.
