Dr. Matthew Schwarzkopf, InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM researcher, delivered a lecture titled From forest to frame, on 7 November 2025, at the University of Silesia, Poland.

His lecture focused on the latest research exploring flexible adhesives used in wood-based composites. He highlighted innovative approaches to improving the performance, sustainability and durability of timber materials, contributing to ongoing advances in modern wood engineering and circular construction practices.

The lecture was attended by students, researchers and faculty members interested in material science and sustainable construction.
