Yesterday, Dr. Andreja Kutnar, acting department chair of InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM, gave an online guest lecture at the University College Cork. She introduced the New European Bauhaus (NEB) principles and highlighted their importance for advancing timber innovation.

During the lecture, Dr. Kutnar shared insights from recent NEB Academy activities, explained how the NEB concept supports wood-based urban development and presented approaches for understanding wood innovation from material properties to regional forestry systems, highlighting practical implications for planning, education and implementation in real projects.

The lecture helped students gain a better understanding of the use of wood for sustainable development.
