Dr. Miklós Krész, scientific councillor at InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM, participated at the 4th Teaming Club conference: Delivering effective strategies for long-term sustainability, held 15-17 October 2025, at CIBIO (Research Centre in Biodiversity and Genetic Resources), University of Porto in Portugal.
InnoRenew CoE is one of the founding members of Teaming Club which is a voluntary network of Center of Excellences from the EU Teaming Programme. The yearly organized Teaming Club conferences started in 2022 and they serve as a platform to investigate the synergies, to share experiences and to settle domain specific cooperations.
Dr. Miklós Krész joined one of the three parallel thematic sessions about Delivering the quadruple helix and presented the approach and experiences of InnoRenew CoE as a centre of excellence, focusing on collaboration between academia, industry, public institutions and civil society to foster innovation and sustainable development.
The session invited representatives from various teaming centres to give short, focused presentations, highlighting how their centres address challenges and opportunities related to the quadruple helix concept. The aim was to showcase concrete solutions and good practices that could inspire other centres, while encouraging an open discussion among all participants.
The Teaming Club has currently 51 members, and high majority of included projects are still running. InnoRenew CoE is the one that was finished as the first one and is therefore playing a special role in the club to share its experiences.
