Register to attend the InnoRenew CoE International Conference 2025 (IRIC2025)

The InnoRenew CoE International Conference 2025 “From lab to life: innovative solutions for a healthier and greener built environment” (IRIC2025) will take place 16-17 September 2025, in the InnoRenew CoE building, in Izola, Slovenia. The registration is now open and possible until 1 September 2025.

The keynote speakers will be Rebecca Williams and Sumea Klokic. Rebecca Williams is a public speaking, storytelling, and presentation expert. At IRIC2025 she will present “Crusader or Communicator: Will Science Remember You?”, and held a workshop “How to Tell the Story Behind Your Science”.

Sumea Klokic is focusing in her research on the structural and chemical characterization of materials used in sustainable and environmental applications, particularly in the fields of energy storage and CO₂ capture. At IRIC2025 she will present “Bright Beams for a Greener Future: Synchrotron Techniques in Renewable Science”.

IRIC2025 will provide a forum to explore renewable materials and their use for creating healthy, sustainable buildings during six thematic sessions:

  • Advanced Manufacturing
  • Information processing
  • Creativity & Society
  • Buildings
  • Health
  • Materials

Additionally, IRIC2025 will host a workshop of MEZeroE project: Open Innovation Test Bed for building envelope products: how can open innovation lead to better building envelopes?. The aim of this workshop is to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of MEZeroE OITB (Open Innovation Test Bed) as currently constructed.
