InnoRenew CoE is collaborating with the Slovenian Istria emergency service, which operates under the Izola health center (ZD Izola), on the renovation of its existing building. The planned project aims to refurbish the deteriorated building and create functional conditions that meet the needs of modern emergency medical services.

The renovation and extension plan for the Slovenian Istria emergency service building was prepared by InnoRenew CoE’s architects and researchers. They proposed a timber above-ground part, primarily to enable faster assembly and minimize disruptions to the emergency service operations.

Recently, a building permit application was submitted on behalf of the Municipality of Izola and in cooperation with the company Elmarkt.
