Dr. Črtomir Tavzes, InnoRenew CoE researcher, attended the 2nd general assembly meeting of the Empowering Furniture Companies with Life Cycle Assessment for Sustainable Practices (FurnitureLCA) project, held 10-11 July 2025, in Yecla, Spain.

At the meeting they discussed about challenges of supporting practical knowledge transfer in the sustainable furniture industry.

The goal of the FurnitureLCA project is to equip furniture companies with the knowledge to be able to make the lifecycle assessment (LCA) that permits to quantify environmental impacts and make better environmental decisions. InnoRenew CoE will contribute in collecting available legal regulations, relevant standards and guidelines for LCA and other specific country relevant information which will result in creating a knowledge HUB.
