Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, and Dr. Michael Burnard, InnoRenew CoE Deputy director, attended the NEBA Alliance General Assembly meeting, held 9-10 April 2025, in Berlin, Germany.
The NEBA Alliance consortium met at the offices of partner Bauhaus Earth to review accomplishments, jointly work on project tasks, and plan future activities. Special attention was given to the NEBA Alliance Open Call, which provides funding for new training Hubs to join the consortium, for new partners to join existing hubs, and for high quality training material to be places on the NEBA platform. The consortium is accepting applications until 5 May.
Additionally, a dedicated event took place, which aimed at bringing together colleagues from across Europe that are working on research, outreach, training, and other means to build more sustainably. Relevant European projects were shared, networks introduced, and organisations presented amongst the group, raising awareness and helping find pathways to collaboration. They worked on a problem-solving workshop to identify how cooperation could help spread the knowledge necessary to accelerate sustainable building across Europe and beyond.
