Dr. Anna Sandak, Dr. Anja Černoša, Dr. Wojciech Pajerski, and Ana Gubenšek, InnoRenew CoE researchers, attended the Hybrid Living Materials on Bio-based Composite Scaffold (LIVEMAT) kick off meeting, held 24 April 2025, at the Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana.

Dr. Anna Sandak presented the InnoRenew CoE, while Dr. Anja Černoša and Ana Gubenšek, presented the planned activities in the work packages related to the interaction of prepared PLA-based scaffold with microorganisms, and characterization and evaluation of novel functionalities and stability of HLMs.

The goal of this 4-years long project, led by Poznan University of Technology, is to design and create a living and active material for the building sector.

The project has received funding from National Science Center and Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency.
