Last week the first meeting of the project of the Competence center for human resources development in woodworking (KOCles), took place. It involves 41 partners, among which 35 companies which together employ 2,902 people, representing over one fifth of all employees in the entire industry. This includes three large, 16 medium-sized, 15 small, and one micro enterprise.
The aim of the project is to increase the skills of employees in companies operating in the woodworking sector, to increase the competitiveness of companies and to create a space for the exchange of knowledge and good practices between the partners of the Competence Centre and beyond.
As part of the project, InnoRenew CoE will offer various trainings for interested stakeholders. These will cover topics such as timber construction, wood science, digitalization of the sector, and other current subjects that are important for the development and future of the wood industry.
