Dr. Aleksandar Tošić and Dr. Niki Hrovatin, InnoRenew CoE researchers together with Dr. Jernej Vičič from the Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies at the University of Primorska published a new scientific article »Beyond the surface: advanced wash-trading detection in decentralized NFT markets« in the journal Financial Innovation.

The article introduces an innovative methodology designed to detect wash-trading activities beyond surface-level transactions, which integrates NFT ownership traces with the Ethereum Transaction Network, encompassing the complete historical record of all Ethereum-account normal transactions.
