InnoRenew CoE collaborated with the Municipality of Izola and transformed a city festive tree into new holiday decorations from wood—wooden festive trees.

The new festive trees were delivered to all primary school units and kindergartens in Izola, promoting a sustainable transformation instead of being discarded. Experts at InnoRenew CoE carefully processed the festive tree, cutting it into pieces and preparing the wood for drying. Later in the institute’s workshop, they crafted the new wooden festive trees. Additionally, they made a charitable wooden festive tree, which the Municipality of Izola put on auction. Through the auction they successfully raised 5,500€, which was donated to the Radio Capris’ charity campaign Hladilnik toplega srca.
