InnoRenew CoE at the 33rd Ambient and Home Plus Fair

InnoRenew CoE and Stilles are present at the 33rd Ambient and Home plus Fair, held from 13 to 17 November at the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre.

It is a trade fair for interior design and home renovation. Stilles is presenting its production of cross-laminated timber (CLT) for the construction of wooden residential and multi-residential buildings of public buildings (schools, kindergartens, nursing homes, etc.).

InnoRenew CoE is presenting to interested participants the different options for embedding sensors in wooden walls (such as CLT). Researchers at InnoRenew CoE have developed sensors for monitoring indoor air quality, and more than 100 sensors have been installed in the institute building itself, which is the largest wooden building in Slovenia, during construction to monitor various parameters such as temperature, humidity or moisture in the wall.

The fair also offers a rich accompanying programme with various lectures, round tables and exhibitions. Yesterday, the Design Day took place, where Dr. Črtomir Tavzes, InnoRenew CoE researcher, presented wood and new materials as a building block for a carbon-negative future.

You are kindly invited to visit us at the booth!
