New publication about researchers mental health in Slovenia

Dr. Ana Slavec and Mateja Erce Paoli, InnoRenew CoE researchers, in collaboration with Alja Čontala from University of Toledo, Mayya Sundukova, and Sonay Caner-Yildrim, recently published a publication “Researcher Mental Health Overview in Slovenia”, in the framework of the COST Action CA19117 – Researcher Mental Health (ReMO).

The report covers a range of topics, including relevant news in academia, funding scenarios, the structure of the academic system, researcher career paths, the overall climate of mental health and well-being, existing support systems, workplace dynamics in academia, policies on mental health, stakeholders and their policies, all within the context of Slovenia.

The ReMO COST Action focuses on wellbeing and mental health within academia, a theme of strategic importance for the European Research Area.
