The Environment Directorate of the Ministry of Environment, Climate and Energy, hosted a training about Green Public Procurement in the Republic of Slovenia at the InnoRenew CoE.

Green Public Procurement is a government instrument that promotes the procurement of goods, services and works that have a lower environmental impact. The training provided participants with general knowledge on public procurement and the knowledge how to effectively apply the Green Public Procurement Regulation.

Eva Prelovšek Niemelä, Head of research department Creativity and Society at InnoRenew CoE and architect, also guided the participants through the institute’s building and gave them an overview of the design and construction process.
