InnoRenew CoE hosted partners from the SustAInLivWork project

Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, welcomed at the institute representatives of the Kaunas University of Technology, Vytautas Magnus University, Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Tampere University, and Hamburg University of Technology.

The objective of the visit and the meeting was to obtain good practice for the development of the Centre of Excellence of AI for Sustainable Living and Working (SustAInLivWork). Prof. Dr. Agnė Paulauskaitė – Tarasevičienė, SustAInLivWork project manager, presented the project which is specialized in the development and application of R&I solutions based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the manufacturing, energy, health and transport sectors.

Later, Dr. Kutnar presented to the visiting team, the InnoRenew CoE with a special focus on leadership, processes, resources, and performance metrics. Dr. Jakub Sandak highlighted the technology transfer strategy and experience in collaboration with the business. Participants also got the opportunity to visit the research laboratories, equipped with state-of-the-art machines that enable the InnoRenew CoE team to perform cutting edge research.

The meeting ended with a discussion about potential synergies between SustAInLivWork and InnoRenew CoE for future collaboration.
