Faksawat Poohphajai, InnoRenew CoE’s assistant researcher in the Materials research department, is among 30 young researchers invited to the Marcus Wallenberg Prize event, which will be held in November in Stockholm.

She will join the Young Researchers’ Challenge and describe her research and its impact on the forest-based industry and society. She will present »Bioinspired Living Coating for Wood Protection« as a part of the ARCHI-SKIN project.

The purpose of the challenge and the prize is to recognize, encourage and stimulate pathbreaking scientific achievements which contribute significantly to broadening knowledge and to technical development within the fields of importance to forestry and forest industries.
