Richard Acquah, InnoRenew CoE’s assistant researcher, attended the BIM Coordinators Summit 2024.
He presented the WoodLCC project and the work done at InnoRenew CoE and UP FAMNIT – Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies, which involves integrating service life performance modeling into BIM for precise life cycle costing of wood construction. During the presensation, he demonstrated the custom Revit plugin that enables the estimation of service life duration and Life Cycle Cost of wood construction elements.
The BIM Coordinators Summit 2024 event focused on information management across various stages of the project lifecycle, from clients, planning to design, construction, and asset operations. It also coverd important topics such as data governance, technology standards, education, and emerging technologies like AR, VR, XR, and blockchain.
