Last week, InnoRenew CoE, hosted events in the framework of the Mediterranean Coast and Macroregional Strategies Week.

The focus of this year’s Mediterranean Coast and Macroregional Strategies Week, which took place from 16 to 20 September 2024, was on strengthening cooperation between macro-regional strategies and jointly tackling challenges such as the circular economy, environmental protection and digitisation.

The week is particularly important for Slovenia, as it holds the Presidency of the EU Strategy for the Alpine Region.

Experts, decision-makers and country representatives exchanged views at more than 10 different events and made proposals to improve macro-regional cooperation.
