InnoRenew CoE joined the University of Primorska and participated in the European Researchers Night, which took place on Friday, 27 September 2024. This year’s event was held under the slogan “oooZnanost! – Fake News and Conspiracy Theories? Let’s empower (ourselves for) science!”.

In the InnoRenew CoE building, Dr Jaka Pečnik, Dr Daša Majcen and Dr Črtomir Tavzes welcomed many young visitors and introduced them to the power of wood, and  myths and truths about its use. They presented some of the scientific research on the diverse use of renewable materials in building renovation.

They also guided them through the largest timber building in Slovenia and presented the research laboratories.
